Celebrating 400 Years of History in The Hudson Valley
Quadricentennial Brew
On the early morning of Wednesday, April 1, 2009, local Hudson Valley press watched Skytop brewmaster John Eccles to learn the brew process and specifics of this celebration beer. Just as Henry Hudson did 400 years before, the Quadricentennial Brew "Last Quarter" began its journey at Skytop Steakhouse and Brewing Company on April 1, 2009.
The bock style golden lager has a strong hop character and is currently on tap after 3 long months lagering!
This collaborative effort joined Skytop's own John Eccles and Nat Collins, former owner and brewmaster of Woodstock Brewing Company.
